FPH-MU Welcomes Professor Rebecca Ivers and Dr Jagnoor Jagnoor

Associate Professor Chakrit Hirunpetcharat, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, FPH-MU, warmly welcomed Professor Rebecca Ivers to share her ideas on collaborative research and activities November 7th 2018 along with Dr Jagnoor Jagnoor. They were joined by Lecturer Dr Kitiphong Harncharoen Epidemiology Department Head and his colleagues Assistant Professor Dr Aronrag Cooper Meeyai and Lecturer Dr Jongkol Podang. Professor Ivers serves as the Head of the School of Public Health and Community Medicine, University of New South Wales, Sydney and Professorial Fellow of the George Institute for Global Health. In addition, she is an Honorary Professorial Fellow in the Injury Division, a Public Health Professor, Faculty of Medicine, an Honorary Professor at Sydney Medical School, University of Sydney, a Professor at Flinders University and when she finds time, a Visiting Professor for the Faculty of Health, University of Technology Sydney. Professor Ivers is also an injury epidemiologist and leading researcher in global health. Recognized for her expertise in studying injury, trauma care and falls prevention, Professor Ivers designs and leads large observational studies and randomized trials focusing on injury in high risk populations in Australia and in low and middle income countries in Asia.
