Third International Practice of Midwifery Graduate Program on Reproductive Health and Health Promotion in Thailand

Associate Professor Dr Mathuros Tipayamongkholgul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Networking, together with International Relations Unit staff welcomed 32 midwifery students and 2 lecturers from the University of Aisyiyah (UNISA), Yogyakarta, Indonesia attending the 10-day "Third International Practice of Midwifery Graduate on Reproductive Health and Health Promotion in Thailand" Program from 12 to 22 January 2019. The Program comprised classroom lectures, site visits at different levels of related institutes and cultural sharing. The participants investigated alternative midwifery services in community at Laung PorPuen Hospital, Nakhon Pathom Province, learned about obstetric services and toured the labor and operation room at Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institutes and visited the Thai Health Foundation and National Institute for Child and Family Development, Mahidol University. The participants also excurse to several landmarks and cultural sites such as Grand Palace.
