MoU between Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University and Dairy Farming Promotion Organization of Thailand
September 20, 2021, the Faculty of Public Health Mahidol University led by Associate Professor Dr Chanuanthong Thanasukan, Dean and Dairy Farming Promotion Organization of Thailand led by Mr Suchart Jariyalertsak, Deputy Director of the Corporate Affairs Organization, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Research Cooperation on Cooperation in Education, Research and Services in the Dairy Industry. Associate Professor Dr Patcharanee Pavadhgul, Nutrition Department Head and Assistant Professor Dr Supat Chaiyakul, Nutrition Department lecturer, Associate Professor Dr Duangrat, Inthon Environmental Health Sciences Department lecturer, Mrs. Napaporn Muangsakul, Acting Faculty Secretary and representatives from the Dairy Farming Promotion Organization of Thailand witnessed the signing of the MOU at the Dairy Farming Promotion Organization (DPO) of Thailand
This memorandum is intended for universities and the DPO to collaborate on studies, research, and development of research projects concerning dairy products to acquire new products to meet consumer demand, to promote academic support, and to develop research and food innovations. The partnership hopes to add value to product development and increase the potential of research personnel to expand results for farmers to put to practical use. Enhancing competitiveness will lay an economic foundation for self-sufficiency in the Bio-economy, Circular Economy and the Green Economy to further develop the country's agricultural sector capabilities.
