Two-Day Training: Community/ Primary Health Care Delivery

Associate Professor Dr Chakrit Hirunpetcharat, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovations, together with International Relations Unit staff welcomed 3 lecturers and 45 students from the Institute of Health Science, Makassar Health Polytechnic, Indonesia attending a two-day training on "Community/ Primary Health Care Delivery" 5 to 6 July 2018. Following the warm welcome Associate Professor Dr Mathuros Tipayamongkholgul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Networking presented an introduction to FPH-MU and organized the ubiquitous group photo. The participants spent their time studying evidence-based midwifery in the community and programs to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality and morbidity rates. They actively joined in classroom discussions and visited the Bureau of Health Promotion Department of Health, MOPH and the Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health. After presenting their learnings to and receiving feedback from Associate Professor Dr Chanuantong Tanasugarn, Dean of FPH-MU the participants were awarded certificates for successfully completing their short course training.
