Expand Service - Learning from Hong Kong to Thailand

June 17, 2024 – Associate Professor Dr. Sarawut Thepanondh, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, presided over the opening ceremony of the short course training program titled "Knowledge and Service Transfer from Hong Kong to Thailand: Engaging in Workforce Health for Health Care Workers at Nursing Homes (Expand Service - Learning from Hong Kong to Thailand)." The program is a collaborative effort between the Department of Public Health Nursing, Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, and Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPolyU). The training will be held from June 17 to 25, 2024, at the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, and Thammasat University.
The project aims to develop a network of academic cooperation, research, and knowledge exchange between faculty and students in the field of health promotion. Participants will engage in activities with the Social Welfare Development Center for Elderly, Ban Bankhae, Division of Older Persons, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, and leading educational institutions abroad. This collaboration will provide valuable opportunities to develop new experiences and knowledge, advancing the field to an international level.
