A Virtual meeting with the University of Southern Queensland

On December 7th, 2020, 9 am till 12 noon , the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University held a virtual meeting with the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. The meeting was scheduled to discuss research opportunities between two institutes. The meeting was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Chanuantong Tanasugarn, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health. Dean was accompanied by Associate Professor Dr. Orawan Kaewboonchoo, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Networking, Associate Professor Dr. Chakrit Hirunpetcharat, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovations and ProfessorDr. Pornpimol Kongtip. Associate Professor Dr. Chakrit Hirunpetcharat, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovations presented the research conducted in the Faculty of Public Health. Meanwhile, Professor Dr. Pornpimol Kongtip, shared her topic “UMass Lowell-Mahidol Center for Work, Nutrition & Human Development (CWEND) Global Environmental & Occupational Health Hub (GEOHealth Hub) for Improving Agricultural Health in SE Asia”. Professor Stuart Biddle from University of Southern Queensland, Australia shared about “Clinical Health and Chronic Conditions; Health Economics and Technology; Health Promotion”. He was accompanied by Dr. Jeffrey Soar, Assoc. Prof. Nicholas Ralph and Assoc. Prof. Tracy Kolbe-Alexander. Both institutes shared and discussed the possible collaboration about the research topic. The meeting was hosted by Mahidol University and Co-host by the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University at the International Public Health and Environment Training Center, Building 4, Floor 1.
