Curriculum

The curriculum structure is set in compliance with the Announcement of the Ministry of Education on the subject of Criteria and Standards of Graduate Studies B.E. 2558, Master of Public Health Degree, Plan A2 and Plan B as stated below:

Plan A2 Plan B
5) Prerequisite courses AUDIT AUDIT
6) Required courses 21 credits 21 credits
7) Elective courses not less than 3 credits 9 credits
8) Thesis 12 credits -
5) Thematic paper - 6 credits
Total not less than 36 credits 36 credits

Courses in the curriculum

1) Prerequisite courses
2) Required Courses 21 credits : For Plan A2 and Plan B
3) Elective Courses : For Plan A2 3 credits , Plan B 9 credits

In addition to the elective courses mentioned above, a student may register on other courses in international programs offered by other Mahidol University faculties, which are equivalent to graduate studies, or courses offered by other universities according to the student’s interest, with the approval of the Master of Public Health Administrative Committee and the advisor.

5) Thematic paper (for only a Master’s degree: Plan B)

Research Project of the Program for Plan A2

A student of the program can conduct a research project in various public health-related fields such as health promotion, implementation-science research, community-based participatory research, environmental health, community health and health services, epidemiological studies, family health and nutrition-related research.

Thematic Paper Project (only for a Master’s degree: Plan B)

A student of the program can conduct a research project in various public health-related fields such as health promotion, environmental health, community health and health services, epidemiological studies, family health and nutrition-related research.
