To produce public health leaders satisfying international competencies of the public health professionals by experiential learning.
MPH Philosophy :
The philosophy of the Master of Public Health program (International program) is to produce a public health professional who understands the complex interrelation between biological and social determinants of health that affect human health and well-being and drives passion among students to create a healthy community at each level of society. The program will advance students capability by experiential learning and fostering student spirituality.
Program Objectives
Express altruistic personalities, moral standards and professional ethics
Describe the knowledge related to the fields of public health and discuss new knowledge and evidences in public health
Appraise evidences to identify optimal technologies or interventions to mitigate public health problems
Work cooperatively and effectively among interdisciplinary teams
Effectively use information technology, analyze data and communicate scientific and public health evidences
Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)
At the end of the program, students will be able to:
Demonstrate morality, public health professional ethics and academic integrity, and comply with regulations
Scientifically discuss contemporary public health situation and evidences
Appraise scientific and public health evidences to define public health problem and synthesize all evidences to identify optimal solutions
Perform public health leadership and effective management in an interprofessional team
Select proper techniques to search, calculate and analyze data, and to design effective communication strategy for advocating public health solutions at community, national and international level
The curriculum structure is set in compliance with the Announcement of the Ministry of Education on the subject of Criteria and Standards of Graduate Studies B.E. 2558, Master of Public Health Degree, Plan A2 and Plan B as stated below:
To complete the MPH course, students must complete At least 36 credits with a GPA of at least 3.0 for one full academic year (two semesters and summer courses).
