The Outstanding Alumni Awards recognize and celebrate the many achievements of MPH alumni, both professionally and personally for outstanding contributions to their profession, community and the advancement of society.
With reference to the M.P.H. program Homecoming Day 2019, and on behalf of the M.P.H. program, the M.P.H. Mahidol Alumni Award 2019 will be bestowed upon those alumni who deserve honor for the best practice/model. There will be 3 awards as follows:
Academic/Research
Administrative
Public service
The general criteria for the alumni award consist of:
1) Must be a M.P.H. Mahidol University Alumni
2) Demonstrate professional integrity and ethics in their field of public health
3) Transfer benefit to mankind
4) Demonstrate success in their field (academic, administrative, public service)
5) Possess leadership in their field (academic, administrative, public service)
6) Is well-known among society (national or international level).
The specific criteria for each award
Academic/ Research
Display outstanding performance in terms of academic/research work, and is well-known at a national and/or international level
Apply academic/research skills for solving public health problems at a national and/or international level
Demonstrate leadership and innovation in academic/research work
Won an award within the past 5 years for academic/research work
Service
Demonstrate outstanding performance in terms of public service and is accepted at a national and/or international level
Display creativity in public service work and deliver benefits to an organization or society at a national and/or international level
Possess evidence of their contribution to, and recognition by, their profession or community at a local, national or international level
Won an award within the past 5 years for public service work.
