Virtual Field Study on the Health System and Innovation during COVID-19 between the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, Thailand and Kanagawa University of Human Services, Japan

The Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University (PHMU), Thailand and School of Health Innovation, Kanagawa University of Human Services (KUHS), Japan inaugurated a virtual field study on August 6, 2021. This constitutes a collaboration between the two universities.
Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, Associate Professor Dr Chanuantong Tanasugarn and Dean of School of Health Innovation, Kanagawa University of Human Services, Japan Prof. Ung-il Chung delivered welcome remarks and shared their experiences during the COIVD-19 situation.
Following the formal session, lectures were delivered on the topic, Health System and Health Insurance in Japan by Assoc. Prof. Ryo Watanabe and Prof. Shinji Nakahara, School of Health Innovation, KUHS. Dr. Thaworn Sakunphanit, Advisor of the Ministry of Public Health, Thailand also shared about, Thai Health Care System and Social Health Protection in Thailand
The joint program is coordinated by collaboration between PHMU and KUHS. Professor Nakahara Shinji, KUHS and Associate Professor Kwanjai Amnatsatsue, chair of Dr. PH (Global Health program) facilitated the program.
