workshop “Capacity Building Program in Public Health Education, Research, and Quality Assurance”

On August 18, 2025, the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, led by Professor Dr. Supa Pengpid, Deputy Dean for Research Strategy and Network Development, together with staff from the Office of International Relations and Overseas Training, warmly welcomed Professor Madawa Chandratilake, Cadre Chair and Senior Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and his delegation from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, to the workshop “Capacity Building Program in Public Health Education, Research, and Quality Assurance” held from August 18–29, 2025, at the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University.
As part of the program, a special lecture on “Introduction to Thailand’s Public Health System” was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Seo Ah Hong from the Department of Public Health Administration, and another lecture on “Public Health Education” was presented by Associate Professor Dr. Surinthorn Kalampakorn, Deputy Dean for Graduate Studies, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Chainant Thangthong, Deputy Dean for Administration and Educational Ecosystem Development.
The workshop was designed to strengthen institutional collaboration, promote academic and research exchange, enhance skills in curriculum development and innovative teaching methodologies in public health, and foster cross-cultural learning.
