a special lecture on “Roles and Functions, Services Provided, Innovation and Best Practice” at Ban Bongti Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital

On May 29, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Sarawut Thepanondh, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, together with the executive team, attended the presentation of learning outcomes by students from the training program titled “Community Health & Diseases in Thailand - FIELD EXPERIENCE”, a collaborative initiative between the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, and the University of Wisconsin–Madison, USA.
The presentations were delivered under the theme: “Roles and Functions, Services Provided, Innovation, and Best Practices.”
The students were divided into four groups as follows:
• Group 1: The situation of teenage pregnancy, health care approaches for pregnant women, and prevention of teenage pregnancy
• Group 2: Child growth and nutrition status, and area-specific management strategies
• Group 3: The situation of teenage pregnancy, health care approaches for pregnant women, and prevention of teenage pregnancy (similar to Group 1)
• Group 4: The situation of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including management and prevention strategies
Dean also presided over the closing ceremony and presented certificates to the students. The event concluded with a farewell party and cultural performance held at Vimandin Training Development Center, Mahidol University, Kanchanaburi Campus, in Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi Province.
