Asia-Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health

APACPH is an international non-profit organization registered in Honolulu, USA as a 501(c)(3) corporation, comprising many of the largest and most influential schools of Public Health in the Asia-Pacific region and dedicated to improving professional education for public health.
Launched in 1984 with just five members, APACPH now has over 81 member institutions in 23 countries throughout the Asia-Pacific region with Regional Offices in Bangkok, Beijing, Brisbane, Colombo,Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Los Angeles, Taipei and Tokyo. Through its activities, the members aim to tackle the unique public health challenges of the Asia-Pacific region, for example, specific health issues of workers within the growing economies of the region.

South-East Asia Public Health Education Institution Network

South-East Asia Public Health Education Institution Network (SEAPHEIN) has been created by the WHO South-East Asia Regional Office to promote collaboration and sharing of information and knowledge among the member countries in the Region in pursuit of strengthening public health education and training.

Asian Health Literacy Association

Health literacy encompasses people's knowledge, motivation and competences to access, understand, appraise, and apply health information. The Asian Health Literacy Association (AHLA) is an independent multinational non-governmental organization that seeks to understand health literacy levels across Asia from a research, education and policy perspective.

ASEAN University Network - Health Promotion Network

AUN-HPN is a regional network of academic collaboration joined by health experts, practitioners, and higher education institutions to promote the roles of universities in promoting healthy lifestyles and suitable environments with health promotion approach. AUN-HPN takes a leading role in liaising and cooperating with higher education institutions and partners in ASEAN region and beyond to accelerate health promotion campaigns and collaborative research for community well-being and public benefits through regional collaboration, research, capacity building, sharing of knowledge and experienced to tackle common health challenges in the region.

GMS Public Health Academic Network

The Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) Public Health Academic Network comprises members from public health academic institutions in 6 countries in the GMS namely Thailand, Vietnam, China, Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Myanmar. The vision of the network is to achieve the highest possible level of health among the people and to promote health equity in the Greater Mekong Sub-region. The Mission of the Greater Mekong Public Health Academic Network is to enhance regional capacity to address major public health challenges through the delivery of education, research, and policy advocacy for the improvement of population health and for health equity in the region. The Network is committed to enhancing the quality and relevance of educational and training programs in public health in the GMS, strengthening the collaboration and partnership of the public health institutions in the GMS, and fostering collaborative actions among existing networks, policymakers, and researchers with interest in health policy and health research. It also serve as a platform for health personnel, academic, researchers, especially graduate students and young academic staff from the GMS region, to share and exchange scientific and professional experience on public health from their countries.

Communicable Diseases Policy Research Group

The Communicable Diseases Policy Research Group (CDPRG) is a multidisciplinary team within the Department of Global Health & Development in the Faculty of Public Health and Policy at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.The Group is based in Bangkok, Thailand, and conducts research across the SE Asia region, and beyond. It provides a focus of expertise on the diverse public health problems associated with communicable disease control internationally and carries out research that is in support of and for policy reform.

The South East Asia Research Network

The South East Asia Research Network (SEARN), based at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, is a platform to facilitate research collaboration. It provides a forum to support the communication and dissemination of research findings, highlight research areas and a network connecting people in LSHTM and collaborators outside with an interest in South East Asia. SEARN includes all ASEAN countries: Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar (Burma), Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore, Timor-Leste (East Timor) and the Philippines.

Global Network for Academic Public Health

The Global Network for Academic Public Health (Global Network) enhances academic public health worldwide through mutual learning and collaborations between academic public health institutions globally.
The Global Network convenes leaders from around the world to share, learn, collaborate, and act to advance academic public health. It addresses issues of global concern related to academic public health and provides a venue to strengthen relationships among Network members. Specifically, the Global Network seeks to enrich the conversation and action of its members through multicultural, multinational, and multilateral engagements and partnerships.
